Scuba Review

 

The primary purpose of the  PADI Scuba Review course is to help certified divers update their dive knowledge and skills, especially after a period of diving inactivity. This program may also be used for divers who are certified with another agency and would like to earn PADI certification.


Course Prerequisites

  1. *Be at least 10

  2. *Be scuba certified

  3. *Fill out the necessary paperwork - including a medical statement


Required Equipment

Each student must have their own:

  1. *Mask

  2. *Snorkel

  3. *Fins

  4. *Boots (if appropriate for fins)

  5. *Appropriate exposure suit


Required Materials

Each student diver must have a personal set of these materials for study and use during the course and for reference afterward:

  1. *PADI Scuba Tune-up Guidebook

  2. *Open Water Manual (optional)


Course Overview

This course is divided into 2 modules:


Knowledge Development – This segment covers the basic safety information divers learn during their entry-level training. Divers use the Scuba Tune-up Guidebook to independently test their knowledge and/or complete the Open Water Diver course quizzes and exam. We’ll discuss the route you want to take to make sure you are comfortable.


Confined Water Skills Review – This module allows students to practice the 20 basic scuba skills. With our guidance, divers update and fine-tune their diving ability.


Course Tuition

$50 - Includes Rental Gear (BCD, Regulator Set, Tanks, Weights), Classroom Session & Pool Session. You will need to purchase your materials separately.
